Studies in Political Economy: A Socialist Review invites nominations for The Rik Davidson/Studies in Political Economy 2016 Book Prize in Political Economy.
The 2016 Prize will be awarded to a Canadian resident(s) who has authored a book in political economy published during 2014─2015.
The winner will be chosen by a jury of five leading scholars in the field of political economy. The Prize carries a value of $500. The recipient will be invited to deliver a public lecture at Congress based on the book.

The Prize is supported by the royalties from books published in the Studies in Political Economy of Canada (SPEC) series by the University of Toronto Press.
Rik Davidson was the social sciences editor of the Press for many years.
