Brock University invites applications for a one-year limited term appointment in the Department of Labour Studies. The appointment will commence July 1, 2018. Preference will be given to candidates who are exceptionally well-qualified to teach at least four of the following courses (2P00: Mediation, Arbitration and Conflict Resolution, 2P90: The Labour of Sport, 2P93: History of the Global Working Class, 2Q92: Work, Equity and Diversity, 3P06: Class and Culture, 3P13: The Politics of Labour, 3P90: Collective Bargaining, 3P91: Labour Studies Theory and Methods, 3Q93: Labour in a Global and Comparative Perspective, 3Q95: Sex Work and Sex Workers, 3Q97: Public Sector Unions, 4P31: Women, Work and Unions). This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

Qualifications

Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. in a relevant academic field, or be near completion, with evidence of successful undergraduate teaching and a Labour Studies research record.
