The Department of Sociology at Queen’s University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor that centres on the future of work. The Department welcomes applicants with a specialization in digital sociology, new media, or technology and who take a critical approach to social inequalities (such as indigeneity, race, gender and class). Evidence of an ability to teach in the areas of work and technology, and the dynamics of contemporary capitalism is considered an asset.
