The Hill and Levene Schools of Business at the University of Regina invite applications for TWO tenure-track positions in the area of Organizational Behavior/Human Resources Management (OB/HRM) at the level of Assistant Professor commencing July 1, 2017.
Candidates must hold a PhD (or be near completion) in organizational behaviour, human resource management, or any related discipline, and demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching and scholarly research. Teaching responsibilities will be primarily in the area of human resources management, including senior undergraduate and graduate courses. For one position, research and teaching experience related to globalization, influence of social media, and/or communications will be considered an asset. For both positions, research and teaching experience with an indigenous focus will be considered an asset. Salary is competitive and will depend on teaching experience and research record, in accordance with the University of Regina Faculty Association Academic Staff Collective Agreement.
Current faculty members in the OB/HRM area have diverse disciplinary backgrounds (management, psychology, sociology) and diverse areas of research/teaching expertise (group dynamics, industrial relations and labor studies, international business, judgment and decision-making, occupational health and safety). The Faculty has a strong appreciation for experiential learning and teaching excellence in addition to scholarly research.
The undergraduate Paul J. Hill School of Business offers Diploma of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration programs. The Kenneth Levene Graduate School of Business offers MBA, Executive MBA, Master of Human Resource Management, and Master of Administration (Leadership) programs.
