“Towards Racial Justice: Engaging White Privilege in the Workplace” takes place on November 8, 2016 in Toronto. This pilot workshop is for white, racialized and Indigenous people who, in their paid and volunteer work, are trying to address racism and the largely unconscious ways in which white privilege is maintained and perpetuated in the workplace. For anyone looking to create and advance inclusion in their organization, this session will offer you theoretical frameworks, develop self-understanding, and offer you ways of encouraging the necessary but tough conversations about race. This workshop will be facilitated by Barb Thomas, Kai Lam and Adriane Paavo.
